depends on a number of things

type of shorts- cant be rediculous cargo's...flat fronts only
sizing of the shirt...has to be a smaller, tighter fit..
shoes....boat shoes, loafers, etc....not sneakrs
sleeves....def gotta keep em rolled up
and color matching...dont look like a clown

I always wear my sports shirts with cargos and sneakers.  

  Haven't had time to buy some khaki shorts.

Most boat shoes and loafers look like crap.  Loafers look like some dainty slippers.
