BrandBlack

Does anyone know what the sizing is like on the August II? I'm usually a size 11.5US in most shoes (I like a little bit of room up front for my toes), but I can only get a hold of either size 11 or 12. I'm thinking 11 would be too small, so I wanted to try size 12. Would that be too big? I can't try them on, they'd have to be ordered online.

Also, does anyone know what type of cushioning the Gambetto's have? I wanted to get a pair of the Black ones for work, but not sure how comfortable they'd be if you're on your feet for 8+ hours a day?

I want to ask this question again about sizing. What do you guys think for the August II? I can get either an 11 or 12US, my normal size is 11.5US. I normally like a bit of room up front, but not more than a thumb's width. I remember the Mirage lows which have the same tooling ran half a size big. BrandBlack used to have that on the product description on their website for both the Mirage mids and lows I think. Would any shoe that uses the same tooling always run longer? or can the upper also determine if it's true to size or not?

I'll see if I can help you at with this. I think Nightwing got a few pairs of the August, or Tennis or something. You can check his Instagram and maybe that can help you, or reach out to him somehow. As far as the Gambetto goes, I have the No Name Shadow, not sure if they are the same cushioning, but it seems like just a foam, not like Blackfoam or Jetlon or anything. I guess I could be completely off though. As far as myself, I don't really like shoes like that. I didn't know that before I purchased, and come to find out I don't really dig woven/knitted, plus they don't have the "support" I would like. I hope that helps. If you have any questions I will try to answer. Also, duke might be able to help.

I watched Nightwing's video, but I'm still not sure if either an 11 or a 12 would be OK for me for the August IIs. I wish BrandBlack shipped internationally because for some reason Revolve only ever get 1 pair in size 11.5US for each shoe. I have to be quick, otherwise they're gone. Very rarely can you special order. I was able to special order the NoNameS, but that was only two size 11.5s they got in total for that model. I wonder why they don't get more of 11.5 for every model? IMO that is a size that would sell out.

Also, what do you guys think of the Gamas?

^^^ I just wish it wasn't that sock thing. I like the strap though.

How does that sock thing feel? Is it like an inner bootie type thing? Would that sock thing feel tight? Anyone own a pair? I'm really thinking of buying a pair, but not sure if I should just wait for the lows. I am interested in the all-black colorway of the mids, and I just might be able to get a pair in my size. Do you guys think they will release an all-black pair in the lows? or I should ask, are they still planning to release a low top version?

Sock dont feel tight at all. It's only a nuisance when putting on the shoe. Future Legends are honestly my sleeper performance shoe of the year. that Jetlon PLUSH cushioning? Traction is x1000 better than the Rare Metals. It doesnt have the true 1 to 1 fit like the Rare Metals due to the nubuck on the toe piece.. but fit is still great for my wide feet.

My Top 3 Rotation as of the moment is Jordan XX8, BB Future Legends (Mauve), and Harden Vol 1's.

Thanks for the reply. If you rate it up there with the Jordan XX8 and the Harden Vol. 1s, then I will definitely need to try and get a pair. Sounds like an awesome shoe.

Anyone know if BrandBlack are still planning on releasing a low top version of the Future Legends?

Speaking of BB FutureLegend lows...interesting because I just realized the Future Legends have the same heel height as the Kobe IV's....just with an attached sock lining haha.

Those of you that have the JC2, should you go true to size? or size down half a size if you're a 'D' standard/normal width foot?

Also, is the tooling on the Gambetto and Gama the same? Not that I have a problem with that, just wondering if the cushioning is the same so that I can choose between the two shoes. It kind of looks the same in the limited pictures I've seen.

Jc2 - if it is the mid with full knit forefoot go half down. If it is the low with the fuse layer, go tts.

Thanks. I thought I remember the regular JC2 fit getting a little loose up front with the knit.

A little loose is an understatement.  Mine are pretty much unplayable after about 40 pickup games or so.

Still fine for shooting around, but they lost a ton of containment for cuts and explosive moves.  I wouldn't even recommend them to be honest, see if you can get the lows or the mids with fuse.

Do you guys think I can go down half a size in the August IIs?

The Mirage Sport lows were half a size larger and they use the same tooling, but not sure if the upper had anything to do with them being half a size larger? Not sure if they've also modified the tooling on the August IIs either as Nightwing said the cushioning is better on the August IIs.

What do you guys think? I need an answer as soon as possible. I want to place an order tonight before they get sold.

Thanks for that info. I know the 2.5s are good with the fuse up front, but how about the regular JC2 lows? Do they have fuse up front or are they the same as the mids?

New price reductions (Rare Metal Lightning, Gambetto, Future Legend) - http://www.finishline.com/brandblack

THANK YOU!!! Was stalling on ordering the black/white RM Lightnings. This deal saved me a little extra vs the 10off100 code. Plus I had a $10 WC reward to burn. Just pulled the trigger on them to get them before the Weartesters pair releases (so I get the right size as no one has in stores to try on). Thank you again. Repped!!!
