if you ask me the gifts given are perfect example of why obama is the @%$. in a time when people are broke and hes saying we need to work together why would hego out and buy all these opulent gifts that cost a grip for people who don't need it just cause? i think obama is the good guy in this situation because tome it seems like he is more worried about us rather than adhering to these bs traditions of diplomatic/head of state stunting.

not at all. it's just that he already returned that statue that the u.k. wanted him to keep, and now the thoughtless gifts.

it's a small deal, but i don't want it to turn into obama brushing off allies. it hasn't come to that yet, though.
