Honestly I know a guy who was a boy scout and his dad was one of the dudes in charge. His dad ended up getting in trouble for taking pictures of the little boys and had mad child porn on his computer... and guess what?

He wasn't gay.

About 10% of the population is homosexual. So in a pack of say 20 boys, 2 of them are most likely gay.

The thing is, sexuality shouldn't be a part of boy scouts, period.

Yes he is. Pedophilia doesn't wipe out sexual preference. He was doing that stuff to little boys then he is a homosexual pedophile. Maybe hes bisexual if you subscribe to that existing I know a lot of people dont, but doing something like that totally rules out the possibility of being a heterosexual.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. My little brothers in the boy scouts and I would vote for any option that keeps people that would do harm to him away from there. Not trying to offend anyone on here that is a homosexual it has nothing to do with you, what I am saying is that if that was the boy scouts premise for banning homosexuals, then I agree with it. 

My little brother does play sports, he joined the boy scouts because it somehow became the thing to do at his elementary school. A bunch of his friends from school are in it with him.

i'm pretty sure the point was that it isn't always the open homosexuals that are the ones fondling these little boys (look at Sandusky), so this ban is gonna do little to nothing to prevent the perversions that are going on...having your son around a gay person isn't gonna put him in danger, having him around a somebody you don't know will...looking at this thread and seeing you guys not being able to grasp this simpleness makes me worry about more than just the kids...

This thread is about the Boy Scouts confirming that they do not want Gay people in their organization... I don't understand what special treatment you are talking about... at least not in this case.
