BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

I think that was the best best retro from that trash era. (2007-2012)

That and the CDP white-red 8 weren't as bad as some of the other stuff that came out in those 5 years.
CDP had some decent pairs. I had the hares and those were pretty clean compared to the ones from that 2011 run on. I had a lot of them too.

We need a proper retro with this shape and colors
This shape is so beautiful. I high cut narrow boot look is just as important as the colors and materials. This question has been asked 1000000 times, but why is it so hard for JB to recreate the same shape? I understand the materials part, but not recreating the shape is inexcusable at this point.

probably the lasts they have for production. I'm sure it's a tough process to recreate the manufacturing process as well as all parts involved in the original. See the 85 1 high and lows, new price hikes and a saturation of different SKUs. Now imagine that for every model

It really is. Supposedly the excuse is that the original molds are lost but I don’t buy that excuse. There’s probably originals sitting in a vault or something somewhere, blueprints with dimensions, etc. recreating the original shape should go without saying. The materials is understandable cause some of those aren’t available anymore, ie Durabuck. But the shape there is no excuse. The colors as well, there is no excuse why they can’t get the correct shade of red on the Playoff 11 outsole, or correct shade of red on the suede for the bred 13’s.

Do they even need OG molds? They can literally just look at the pictures lol.

I honestly don't think they pay attention to that stuff.

You could be correct, though not sure if it’s as simple as looking at the pics or not.

It really is mind boggling how certain details get lost, yet every so often they hit a home run. I think most of the people at Nike were probably too young to remember how a lot of these shoes looked, maybe they look at a pic, create a new mold that’s acceptable to them (though not to us) and call it a day. Idk.

Heard from a guy who is pretty accurate with insider info that JB plans to release these again in fall of 2025.

If they do I hope they get these right this time around with the recent Cardinal mold.
Yeah I need these to come correct. All time favorite model, one of my all time favorite color ways.

40th anniversary going crazy.

I hope this fella is right. Although I would love to see playoff 7s again, I would be in for two pairs of bords. My 2015 pair fits so snug but I will never ever ever let them go.
