BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

whats your area?

and i used paypal, but i had a credit card on my paypal that i used. and its not in my name. if they make me bring in the person with their card to refund me, even though the paypal account is in my name, that is ridiculous.

i could understand if i used straight up credit card not in my name, so therefore it wouldnt match my ID. but i paid through paypal and the paypal account is in my name.

plus it clearly states on their website that any paypal purchases would be refunded in cash. when i return my pair to FNL, im going to pull up the website and make them pay me in cash. thats what their policy says.

EDIT: i just called the FNL im planning to make the return to, and asked, and the dude told me paypal gets cash. your store aint following the rules lol
There's no rules with FNL returns done in stores. It really depends on the store and sometimes even the people working there that day. I've returned something without receipt in 1 store before for store credit and a few weeks later at the same store with different people working they wouldn't even take the return even if I would show them my online order on my phone.

Nah, there's rules, just some stores don't follow em is all.

yea i know niketowns dont refund cash for paypal. they give a giftcard for the amount. i just called my local FinishLine and they assured me paypal gets cash refund.
lol wow that's crazy. I wasn't even aware of the cash refund if you used PayPal thing. I mean it doesn't really matter to me. I would prefer not to get cash back anyway. I'd be too tempted to spend it.

Just picked up a pair of size 11s at San Diego House of Hoops no problem. There was a huge storm yesterday so people didn't pick pairs up. Apparently this was the largest shipment they received! No size 10s left though.

Probably because even back in the day shop workers werent doing their job correctly

To say some of the holes shouldnt be punched in is flat out ridiculous

That's what I'm thinking, like it was an oversight back in 1992, and to keep it "remastered" they went with the mistake again...

but they're meant to not all be perforated. The kids shoes only have all the holes punched out, it's been that way for all the bords released, OGs, 2011's and 2015's.

My 2011 are a size 8.5 and they have all holes punched. And apparently the other 7's have all holes punched, why would they just skip it for bordeauxs? Seems like a flaw that got passed on. It just doesn't look right, especially when you look at other 7's with all holes clearly punched.

Looks as just how they were designed, they were like that in pics in catalogs and ads before the '92 release. Doubt it was a manufacturing issue. Not sure why your Men's 8.5 from 2011 would be like that but as you can see with the 2011 pairs posted in this thread, the perforations look just like the og and 2015s. I think the VII charcoals, citrus, chambrays & gmps were also like the bords perforations.

Not true. both of my pairs from 2011 are punched through cleanly, and all the way.
What size were they? You can pull up the other 2011's posted in here, most were like the og's. I guess then they weren't consistent in 2011's pairs.
Here's some nt'ers pics from the wdyt thread:

i see, reminds me of the perforations from some of the vi's from last year. just another small detail that the 2015's are more similar to the '92 og's.

I swear every release every one is hating on the quality, but a year down the road everyone is gonna want them regardless. Also willing to pay retail for a VNDS pair.

Really who cares about the holes....I mean I get the frustration and for the price should be right but we know jb isnt a quality first company and cant tell when youre wearing them....I mean take a sewing needle or something and fix it if youre that stressed about it lol

exactly. just wear em

My 2011's are punched through, why should these be different? Are the OG's not punched through completey?
No. I do not think the OG's were punched all the way through.

I also made the statement that the shoes are supposed to be that way because every shoe has the exact same holes punched all the way through and the exact same holes not punched all the way through.

If it was a quality issue, it would be random. It wouldn't be consistent throughout.

Even if it was screwed up and the holes were supposed to be punched through that's such a minor thing to me that I don't give a ****. When people see them on feet, they aren't going to be analyzing each hole to make sure it's punched through.

After just joining this board for a few days it's amazing the things people complain about. These are just shoes after all that are made by kids in China. Reading these board almost ruins it for me with how critical people are. lol

Decided to return and exchange my two TTS pairs and got two pairs half a size up. TTS was too snug for my liking.

Welcome to NT. We talk about shoes. :rolleyes

I feel like God blessed me with the best tongues possible (tear) Yo I needed that large amount of green I wear that army color a lot with these and just the shoe is dope im not gonna bash my 2011's because I was gonna sit this one out but after coppin man am I happy new improvements plus im selling my old pair so I feel like with the tongue and overall shape I got an upgrade I admit I wasn't sold on the midsole initially but in person the shoe does it for me. Cant wait to wear these soon.

Think some of you guys are confusing the holes you're talking about on the shoe

If remastered and $20 means JB putting Nubuck on these and not a furry Durabuck than it was well worth it. I wish the Black Infrareds from last year would have had this great Nubuck.
