For older titles, definitely go to Fry's. They have some amazing deals. New titles are priced the same as Best Buy. Usually at $26.99.I've found that when buying Blu Rays, patience is the key. Don't buy new releases unless you HAVE to have them. The Dark Knight and Iron Man come tomind when buying new realease Blu's.Originally Posted by Malloy19
How does Troy look on Blu Ray? Loved that movie... Just picked up cloverfield/sleepy hollow combo pack at Frys for $19.99, and Casino & American Pyscho for $9.99. Frys is the best place I've found for deals around my way.
X-Men Films Coming to Blu-ray

20th Century Fox In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has revealed that they will bring 'X-Men', 'X2: X-Men United', and 'X-Men: The Last Stand' to Blu-ray on April 21st. All three titles we be delivered as two-disc sets with 1080p AVC video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks.
No special features have been revealed at this time, but you can expect to see at very least all the extras from the previous special edition DVD releases.
Astute Blu-ray fans will remember that 'X-Men: The Last Stand' has not only been previously released, but was also the first Blu-ray title to be released by Fox back in 2006. It is unknown if this new two-disc set will be an extension of original release, or a completely new encode.
hope it comes boxed as well.
King Kong came out this week. Blu-ray.com gave the av transfer rave reviews.
-regarding the video quality; "It's gratifying to see Universal bestow such a phenomenal transfer on the film. King Kong is a reference qualitytransfer that will be used as demo material for years to come. Highly recommended! "
