Same story with me man, that's why I don't mind camping, i thought this was a rumor when they say these we're gonna release but sure enough..The black/infra 6s have been a Moby D*ck with me for 14 years. Back in 2000, when they were first retro'd, I had a chance to cop them in-store on release day but passed. Next day I changed my mind but by then they were all sold out, and I've never been able to get them since (I don't pay more than retail, ever, period). I've copped my share of Js since then, but that failure has always stuck in my craw, so yesterday's successful 4-hour wait for a guaranteed ticket was about settling an old score with the game, scratching a 14 year itch.
So while yes, the line was a pain in the a*rse while I was in it, but that's over now and because of it I now have a big treat on Black Friday to look forward to.

House of Hoops here did guaranteed pair ticket yesterday. Other regular Foot Lockers in the area just did a standard raffle. So I dunno what the national story is, but that's how it was here.

I missed out back then too. I believe they dropped around August 2000. I was in college and didn't keep up with sneaker releases back then. I can remember classes starting back and feeling the sting from missing out because everybody was rocking them. It took me a while to get over it. These are my all time favs so I stood in line for about 2 1/2 hrs yesterday to secure a guaranteed ticket at HOH.

these terms are all cousins: grey market, unauthorized, early release, variant, replicas, AAA grade, perfect grade, and of course FAKE. They are just different names for fakes.
B-grades are iirc real shoes with defects
I only want to buy 100% authentic genuine Nike or Jordan from official authorized retailers, and any on ebay need to be verified and confirmed that they are selling the legit real merchandise.

My brother had these back in the days of the OG release.. I skipped them in 2k.. I had those white and blue ones then though.. i may need to get those restored..I'm still thinking on these..been buying too many kicks lately.

Awesome! I wore the 2000 retro of these nonstop for basketball for 3 years. Granted I had to change the insole to something better but after that they were more than adequate. And functionally will the 2000 retro be any different than the 2014s?
