i really feel bad for you if you're not gonna eat on this release because of a slight difference in red that to be honest is probably the product of age.

Dont feel bad for me homie. Ive already been let down once this year dealin with these infrared 6s with the white/infrareds and that faded infrared shade. As u can see theyre still sittin in my Sig line for sale. Carmines were my grails of all the 6s and i got those and im already locked in for the Sport Blue 6s so ill be alright with them 2 OG colorway 6s or 3 if i can never sell the white 6s. And i blame NOBODY for goin after these. The shoe itself looks like its made really well and the materials look really nice, that faded infrared just kills it for me personally.

ah yes the good ol days. back in day as a kid i use to think nike was crazy for releasing such girl colors the maroon and ofcourse the infrared jordan vi which looked like hot pink back then. also thought the grape v were kinda feminem too.

The pic u just reposted that i posted proves my case. The red in the picture matches with his Bulls uniform nearly perfectly and that aint the lighting. Ill jus leave it at that. I got the whites i know what this year "shade" of JB infrared looks like and it aint what MJ has on his feet in this picture.

You need the varsitys then. Sorry but it IS the lighting. And this picture does not accurately represent the clear difference of bulls red vs infrared. Just saying. OGs were "pinkish" too. I love em but some dudes just don't get it. Just hope all this complaining holds up on release day. Will be funny to see what those claiming "pass" will actually do on release day. I just want mines tho, can care less about what the next man thinks about the hue on my shoe. I feel if one passes because of the infrared, then he/she never really wanted in the first place. Or maybe said person really likes varsity red 6s and has yet to come to terms with that. Lol

i do acknowledge that they're going to gr, but i don't think these will sit on shelves for a minute like carmines did. everyone seems to be hype about these.

You might have to get over that homie. Old heads back in 91' had this very same dilemma as you. They had gripes about the 6s because the "red" used on them did not match the bulls jerseys and bulls gear. That's because the color used is/was infrared. The complaint from '91 heads was "it looks to pinkish". Sound familiar? Same complaint about IR 6s then is the same complaints about IR 6s now. That should tell you just how close these 2014s actually are in comparison to the OGs. People calling these "pink" is nothing new if you know your history. I truly hope fools pass on these so all the us heads who know better can copp with ease. Oh yeah....2 pairs please.

That sure is a revelation to me because the only consistent gripe I heard about J's back in the day involved the price tag. I never heard anything about the infrared being too "pinkish". Matching wasn't much of a big deal and as far as Bulls merchandise was concerned, Infrared was good enough.

If the Carmines sat this year then we have to COMPLETELY redefine the term of a shoe "sitting" cause them Carmine 6s were GONE in my city of ATL before they even released.

Agreed completely.

Btw, if this year's gr's have shown, this should be produced in large quantities. As some of us call it, super duper gr. Obviously it won't feel this way come rd because of the huge demand this color will have.
Also in regards to the infrared color used this year, I think someone had posted in the white infrared thread an old interview of Tinker talking about how the infrared color used in 1991 was different than anything used by them before and a complaint by many at that time was it did not match the Bulls' red.
