What y’all usually do to prevent the crunch bar neck?

Seems like I always have trouble with ingrowns on one side of my neck afterwards. My facial hair grow stupid so I usually try to stay with the mustache and goatee combo at all times (working from home and wearing mask spoiled me)

What do you shave your neck with? I can't go any shorter than a trimmer or it's a problem.

I use a trimmer, last time I used a razor was worse than Zion

I wouldn't expect that trimmer to cause you any problems unless you're going over the same area a bunch of times. Are you using the blade flat against your skin, more like a clipper? That's easier on the skin than if you've got the tip of the blade pressed perpendicular against your skin (like how you'd set in a line) and pulling in a "raking" motion.

I spent $40 on a cut at a new barbershop here Upstate Ny and dude cutting my hair couldn't speak English.. he gave me some sorta lesbian cut.. thankfully a couple weeks after that, I got hooked up with a spot that does free cuts on certain days and the new guy cut that lesbian crap off my head and I went back to a dark Caesar .. so that’s where we at with it now. I’m really not tryna spend more than $25 on a cut and $30 is pushing it

Lesbian cut. LMAO. I came home a while ago, I just cut it every two days at the most. Follow it with an electric razor for any spots not close enough.
