Once a week?
Yes once a week. You can use a lil water in the morning to moisturize between washes but full blown wash with shampoo etc once a week.
You’re stripping your hair from all of its natural oils. Causing the dryness.

Once a week?
I can ask a friend I know who lives in that area.Looking for a new shop recommendation in Pearland, TX
I’ll be moving and can’t travel 60 miles round trip to my old spot for a haircut anymore.
$10 for a durag seems excessive. For the wavers, I need durag recommendations. Also, is $10+ the going rate nowadays for quality dueys?
Nah. Everyone is different. Been washing daily for years. Just a pea size drop.If you’re black you should not be washing your hair everyday.
That’s the problem right there. You’re drying your scalp out. 1 time a week maybe 2x if you work out or sweat a lot at work.
I honestly never spend over $5 for a durag. It just ain’t worth it to me. As long as I get a nice satin/silk rag with long, thick straps, I’m goooood. For the wavers, I need durag recommendations. Also, is $10+ the going rate nowadays for quality dueys?
