Damn fools paying for shape ups every week?Having a barber that can perfectly blend in your fade is the hardest part , I gotta get a cut tomorrow I'll see if he can follow directions . Btw to all you guys that get a shape up every week yall don't feel that your hairline is slightly push back ?
Is that weird to you?

not even that lol, i try to be in the shop every friday afternoon like clockwork
i must be a fool for keeping my appearance 100.emoji

Come on fam its 2015, with all them weekly quick shape ups yall buying you could save up and buy a damn Andis, Oster or Wahl Liner and do it yourself with two mirrors. Unless you like rocking neck/temple fades and always want them fresh and crisp I understand.I thought son was a barber

Then again I think like a barber who cuts his own hair.
My bad.
no but with time youll be good money... my girl thought i went to the barber this weekend for a shape up... nope, got a cut last week and just went over what he did... it saves me money in btwn haircuts... so instead of seeing him 4x a month, i could see him once or twice. I dont have my beard going for me right now (goatee) so its that much easier.. i learned in the military.. messed my fade up for 2 months b4 i got it right.. lolSo If i cop 2 mirrors and an Andis, my shape up finna be just as crisp as my barber who's been doin this since he got out the pen in '94?
No, find a new barberI gotta get a cut tomorrow I'll see if he can follow directions . Btw to all you guys that get a shape up every week yall don't feel that your hairline is slightly push back ?
Yea because that's exactly what I said....So If i cop 2 mirrors and an Andis, my shape up finna be just as crisp as my barber who's been doin this since he got out the pen in '94?
Saw that **** in the previews and came in to say the EXACT same thing.
Leave that cut in 2013
My Andis T Outliner GTX, the black ones, don't even touch when I try to shave with them. I just put them back in the box
Analogies by definition are not the same.
horrible analogy. tattoos and haircuts aren't even the same.
Real talk how long would it take me to learn to do that weekly in between taper at the temple adequately by myself at home?Yea because that's exactly what I said....So If i cop 2 mirrors and an Andis, my shape up finna be just as crisp as my barber who's been doin this since he got out the pen in '94?
I dont have the patient for that, I will just go to the barber or woof it out.Real talk how long would it take me to learn to do that weekly in between taper at the temple adequately by myself at home?Yea because that's exactly what I said....So If i cop 2 mirrors and an Andis, my shape up finna be just as crisp as my barber who's been doin this since he got out the pen in '94?
About 2 or 3 months I would say.

Yea anything with fading/taper or just someone with a weird hairline I can understand not wanting to cut themselves,
I respect the craft man.
You're dead on, you think like a barber ^^^ you can't wonder why we're int he shop every week.
Yea this is true, trust me cutting your hair with two mirrors does start to wear you out dexterity wise especially the older you get.
Idk man you're right on the "Even Steven" been doing that since 9th grade but it takes a certain level of dexterity to even come close to matching a high level barber's lineup. I mean I can buy myself and my line a handful of days or so but it's not the same. I'm also convinced his Andis are better than mine. Probably need to zero gap.
