Saw this on FB not too long ago

For what its worth the beaches in the NYC area were never that clean from all the sewer overflow that  gets dumped in during a heavy rain event but this is next level to the point where im not even sure if this is real.

Be careful what beach you go to

Man can't even swim anymore without the fear of being turned into a Fantastic 4 accident.

Why anyone would get in any body of water anywhere near nyc is beyond me. I was weebay.gif when I found out ny had beaches and people actualy go swimming.

I remember the first time I went to Rockaway beach. Up until then I had only been to beaches in the Caribbean.

Had never gone to a beach in NY or anywhere else in America. Them white sand beaches with the sapphire blue waters had a ***** spoiled

I'll never forget the immense disappointment I felt when I got there and the sand was filled with glass and the water was dark green with newspapers floating in it

I used to live right near Rockaway Beach as a kid. One day I was walking the sand and cut my foot on a piece of glass.

New Yorkers are stingy with their [emoji]128169[/emoji],they used to sell their human waste to colorado for fertilization after many years of not finding a purchaser of their [emoji]128169[/emoji]. But NO! They jacked up the prices and now NY is so full of [emoji]128169[/emoji] not only are there eyes are brown so are their beaches.

They told me those pipes were there to funnel sand. I knew it was shady.

It's a natural gas pipeline. Many in the neighborhood are against it for obvious reasons.
Yo, I kid you not dude, that was the first thing I said when I saw the pipes on the beach coming in from the ocean. Told my boy, yo that looks like natural gas piping but he brushed me off like I was nuts, then someone made the funneling sand comment.

between what's put in our food to what's done to the environment.... just makes you lose hope
