Black Culture Discussion Thread

The BAFTA thing is fairly simple to me.

Not the person who said it or the disease they suffer from that supposedly caused him to say it in that moment...thats complex as hell and I dont know nearly enough to provide an opinion worth any weight.

But the network airing it without censoring the word? Yeah, **** yall.

I do have other N word questions that I dont havent asked cuz the space never allows for it.

Why does Apple music censor the N word in the lyrics? But no other swear words?

And why does Closed Caption use ER everytime the soft a or hard ER is used?

Human error racism

Apple probably has a whole other file and clause for the n word and other racial slurs that most likely aren’t grouped with regular curse words.

Delroy Lindo, MBJ, and Chris Rock should have walked off the stage and refused to return.

Nobody has the right to stink up the place just because they have a medical or mental condition.

Whether it's the Oscars in Hollywood or BAFTA in London, none of this is surprising.

Doing it while Delroy Lindo (who portrayed a black man who dared two white men to say it) is presenting is bad enough, but refusing to censor it was a deliberate decision made by sneak-dissing cowards.

Their "response" makes me believe this was all staged/planned.

The same BBC that refused to censor the "incident" is now "investigating" BAFTA for the "incident" they refused to censor.:smh:
