I was laughing at first because dude hasn't played in the NBA since 2018.
. I haven't consistently watched the NBA since and couldn't think of a cacausian big with no 3pt shot.
I don't think it's weird to want to test a hypothesis to be tested at all.is it weird that i kinda want to see someone do the analytics on this? like for instance do darker players tend to have more extreme anthropometrics like longer wingspans (which might make certain types of shots easier/more difficult) genetically folks nearer to the equator are darker & have longer limbs that stated professional athletes are outliers of outliers so maybe it wouldn’t matter
, i wouldn’t be surprised there was some iteration of it already tho
…that noted i don’t think in my whole experience of playing sports i saw much presuming on the front end based on complexion but rather moreso in hindsight but i definitely can see it playing a big factor because biases, check boxes, & player comps are the language of sports
