for real man....these dudes be having mad anger issues towards women. i really dont get it.

*edit* my bad read that wrong

everyone has their issues & getting over them is on the individual but it’s interesting, tho i can understand why it is the case, that folk have no qualms chastising men for their assumed relationship problems with & to women, meanwhile we actually know women are & openly proclaiming their lack of understanding & disdain for the men they have entertained

🤔 define ‘real man’ right quick…and do you think it is the consensus? do you have a similar description of a ‘real woman’ too?

???

You've never heard some one say "for real man"?

I can't imagine a serious person taking this foolishness as more than social media entertainment for clicks, views, and likes.

There's no way Temu Rachel Dolazal could tell me anything about a black woman...at all.

Confused as to why an established sister like herself can't have a seat at the table discussing our affairs?

Bigger issue is why do black folk feel they need the blessing of white people to speak on things to get the message across. Shh goofy to me

This desperation for white acceptance/validation/stamp of approval gotta stop.

That's on me. I'll be sure to specify if a post is for pure entertainment or not moving forward. I would have thought posting something from someone looking like her would have made it obvious but I guess not.

That was moreso on Chez Charde making that post

Shorty really sat there and said "they don't believe us. Let me find this white girl speaking on it so they believe us"

Re: Respectability Politics

So the Stephen Jackson, for all of you that believe "wanting black people to act more civil/respectable in public" has to come from a place of wanting/needing to impress white folks, does this situation also apply?

Let me know so I can see how consistent that stupid logic is.

In case anyone didn't see it.

Let some folks in here tell it…….THIS is apart of black culture and we should continue to strive more towards this. US not fighting each other would be US trying to impress white people.

More like all white Louie’s champ. I was at the Kappa Takeover this weekend/all white party at MGM. Rocking my all white Louis Vuitton loafers……no socks of course. Custom tailor made linen suit by the way. I ain’t playing no games out here.

Bootstraps ain’t for me……….I’ll leave that for you dudes.

McDonald's settles Byron Allen's $10 billion lawsuit over commitment to Black-owned media

June 13 (Reuters) - McDonald's (MCD.N), opens new tab has settled a $10 billion lawsuit by the media entrepreneur Byron Allen challenging the fast-food chain's alleged refusal to advertise with Black-owned media.
Friday's settlement between McDonald's and two of Allen's companies, Entertainment Studios Networks and the Weather Group, averts a scheduled July 15 trial in Los Angeles federal court.
It also resolves Allen's related $100 million lawsuit against McDonald's in Los Angeles Superior Court.

McDonald's said it will buy ads "at market value" from Allen's companies "in a manner that aligns with its advertising strategy and commercial objectives."
Settlement terms are confidential. McDonald's, based in Chicago, denied wrongdoing in agreeing to settle.
In a statement, Allen's companies said "we acknowledge McDonald's commitment to investing in Black-owned media properties and increasing access to opportunity. Our differences are behind us."
Allen had accused McDonald's of "racial stereotyping" by not advertising with Black-owned media, and lying when it pledged in 2021 to boost national ad spending with those media to 5% from 2% by 2024.

He said he relied on that pledge when seeking new business from McDonald's, only to be rebuffed. Allen also said his Allen Media Group represented more than 90% of Black-owned media.
Allen's networks include The Weather Channel, Cars.TV, Comedy.TV, ES.TV, Justice Central, MyDestination.TV, Pets.TV and Recipe.TV.

Yes, black teens aren't the only ones affected but I don't give a damn about the rest of them as much as I care about my own.

So that's why this is here.
