Had this convo with fam this summer. There's black people now who didn't grow up with a lot of other black people, which is crazy to me.Can’t even fault Saquon for messing with the white given where he’s from and what schools he went to…Only issue is not really knowing who you dealing with, you know shorty said/did some wild **** round him and he probly let it slide![]()
Yea we on like the 2nd generation of folks that that the only other black ppl they see n interact with on the regular is their immediate famHad this convo with fam this summer. There's black people now who didn't grow up with a lot of other black people, which is crazy to me.
We had the convo because our younger cousin is getting married to a white guyYea we on like the 2nd generation of folks that that the only other black ppl they see n interact with on the regular is their immediate fam
Fully immersed in white culture meanwhile all they know about black culture is thru music vids n social media…I can’t expect a dude like this to end up with a sista n vice versa
and it's basically the same scenario. That’s why HBCUs are important. Take 2 kids from that kind of environment, send one to an HBCU and the other to a big state PWI and you’ll get two totally different adultsYea we on like the 2nd generation of folks that that the only other black ppl they see n interact with on the regular is their immediate fam

Yup, exactly why some celebs send their kids to the top HBCU’s…Always a couple kids on campus that make you think “why the hell you going here?”That’s why HBCUs are important. , but they just need some black experience which they can’t find where they are fromWhat he insinuating is that DEI started rewarding people who "complained" about being targeted for their immutable characteristics, and as a result, people started farming complaints at the expense of "real" conversations. The snake example is about gaming the system, not balancing it (which is what DEI does).
He's being disingenuous all around. Reporting discrimination has been in place prior to modern DEI initiatives. The "reward" of DEI is that theres now a concerned effort to fairly and visibly address those issues, instead of being dismissed as "playing the race card" and having it swept under the rug. What he insinuating is that DEI started rewarding people who "complained" about being targeted for their immutable characteristics, and as a result, people started farming complaints at the expense of "real" conversations.
What is disingenuous about the way the assertion is presented is that they pretend that those who asked about someone's origin because the question fit the context of a conversation were treated the same as those who asked the question as a precursor to put someone down.
I don't know how someone can watch Nazis manifest themselves on live TV and argue that the state of public discourse is better under Trump.
And then, there's the WSJ lady who said that Trump's cabinet was serious. LOL
If that’s the case then DL’s friends reaped what THEY sowed.
