Yea I try to keep my hands out of my pockets in certain places but other times I purposely put them in my pockets hoping someone comes up to me with some foolishness.

I don't do anything a normal person wouldn't do, but my actions do lack the entitlement white people flaunt. Like I realized a few minutes into a grocery trip that I needed a cart. I had already picked up a couple of things I hadn't paid for yet and I headed to the front of the store where the carts are. I put the bag down on some products, went past the first set of doors (but not outside) and got a cart and came back in.
A normal person would probably do the same. Some white people would walk out with the bag in hand, get the cart, and then throw a hissy fit if some security guard approached them about it. It blows my mind how a lot of white people interact with security, law enforcement, etc. I mean we all know that Dave Chappelle "I hadn't thought of that" routine from 'Killin Me Softly'. But it still persists. They just **** on security and cops, and a lot of times get away with it too. Or at the very least don't get tackled, body slammed or slaughtered. It's wild.
But to me, any normal person should say hey, if I walk like I'm leaving with unpurchased stuff, it would look sketch. But some people just think they own the world.

I always get my receipt and a bag at the store. Don't care if it's a pack of gum, not claiming I stole anything then calling the boys on me
I try my best to never be one on one ANYWHERE with a white woman. Don't care if she's the nicest person in the world. She could claim I did something even though I never acknowledged her presence. It's obvious who's word they'd believe
One thing I love to do is walk through these white folks on the sidewalk/in the aisles. Better move or get trucked.

bro, lol not every black person consider themselves "African" and remember there was animosity in here with people in here not wanting to associate themselves with non American born blacks. Thats why I created the other thread.

One of them (black) actually tried to stop me once like "I need to see your bag"...real aggressive...
I told him "No thanks Champ" and kept it moving. Feet never stopped or even slowed down.
Side note:
One of the benefits of growing up as a military kid is your youth is truly multicultural - you get to see all races up close and personal before the propaganda and BS sets in.
I was saying and doing things to and with white folks that bewildered my non military peers.
They couldn't understand why I wasn't scared of white people (and neither could white people)
Simply because I know the truth.
Race doesn't exist.

fundamentally, i think most people can understand this…but the world at large is built around & pretty invested in the idea of race (which is often conflated with culture); so i would imagine most people would, if not always actively/consciously, change their behavior depending on the context & who is around on some level?

Social constructs exist and race is a social construct.
What I mean is social constructs are not reality.
Ex:
Race is not based on facts, truth, logic, reason, or history - nor can the color of our skin be biologically / scientifically proven to impact the content of our character.
