One of them (black) actually tried to stop me once like "I need to see your bag"...real aggressive...
I told him "No thanks Champ" and kept it moving. Feet never stopped or even slowed down.

One of the benefits of growing up as a military kid is your youth is truly multicultural - you get to see all races up close and personal before the propaganda and BS sets in.
I was saying and doing things to and with white folks that bewildered my non military peers.
They couldn't understand why I wasn't scared of white people (and neither could white people)

exactly I take no craps from a mayonnaise people, bring that nonsense next to me we gonna handle it like a business plan.
fundamentally, i think most people can understand this…but the world at large is built around & pretty invested in the idea of race (which is often conflated with culture); so i would imagine most people would, if not always actively/consciously, change their behavior depending on the context & who is around on some level?
