I guess it all depends on where those facts come from, and how they are received by whom. I think that it is pretty clear that if the wrong people get certain info? That power can shift in the wrong direction, away from its true purpose and source.

a fact can be muddied through incomplete understanding. Case in point, the term all deliberate speed, used in the context of the desegregation of america. Through literal means, it seems like it is saying to rid america of segregation quickly. However in legal terms it actually means slooooowwwllly. A person who lacks that understanding may expect a different result in regard to FACT.

Also, many doctrines were in "existence" before the Abrahamic books were "written", how do you know what from what? I'm not trying to be a scoffer, you said you don't have all the answers and that's cool, just point me in the direction to find what I'm looking for.
