Marrying or building a family with somebody outside of your don't mean you a sellout but the reality is we live in a extremely racist country and it is alot of black men that marry and have kids outside of their race because of racial programming.

It's a lot of black dudes that feel getting with any broad that ain't black is some "come up". Look at all these _'s that hype the Kardashians and they go through a bunch of surgery to look like black women.

Black people are the only race that have this mindset that another race will raise my status. Every other group values family, building a family with your own. Yeah it's white girls that love brothas but that's mainly a fetish for most of those types. They not doing nothing about racism.

You can still be for your people and marry/have kids outside your race but you should expect people to look at you kinda funny. Who you decide to have a family with does say something. Me personally I can't see myself having a family with a nonblack women. I just connect a lot better with them and physically they're more attractive. And I'm not risking having kids with a girl who's parents/relatives are racist. I speak my mind too much for that.

Is that your families tradition? I haven't run into many Orthodox. What are some of the main differences from your experience between Orthodoxy and what is practices as an American Christianity?
