Black Culture Discussion Thread

Mad? cause my description matches your characteristics? Even though I didn't mention your name or qoute you.

Okay sir...see what I did here.

Chess not checkers!!!
You will continue to lose at this game.
White people like robtoofresco hate to see Black people have anything of our own. Here it is a Black Culture thread, and he tries to come in and lecture Black people about the methods and focus of our own ancestors. White people like robtoofresco love to romanticize Black heroes after they are gone, to make it seem as if they actually like white people.

We believe in taking care of the community. My brothers put in that work yesterday.

If Trump actually gets A$AP out cats are gonna be calling him a **** when he inevitably thanks him publicly aren't they :smh::smh:

Police are guard dogs for the state and petrified white folks. Hell the police ARE petrified white folks.

I bet he eating those words now...

Apparently they let the other guy go.

Lotta these cats live in bubbles forget they're black or everyone around them entertaining their blackness as a novelty.

. "Why, because I'm Black? So every time something happens because I'm Black I gotta stand up? What the **** am I, Al Sharpton now? I'm A$AP Rocky. I did not sign up to be no political activist," Rocky was quoted as saying in a July 2016 interview with The Breakfast Club. "I don't wanna talk about no f'n Ferguson and **** because I don't live over there! I live in f'n Soho and Beverly Hills. I can't relate. I'm in the studio; I'm in these fashion studios; I'm in these b!+@#3$ drawers. I'm not doing anything outside of that. That's my life."

Doing drugs and partying with young whites is an illusion. They gonna go back to whatever their family raised them to be and you gonna be a black junky that theymove on from. It's sad and see it happen a lot.

Rocky's comment was out of pocket but i hate this era of basing someone's entire life of one dumb thing they have said. As a fan of his music i've listened to records & interviews that don't add up with what he said in that interview at all.

with more nuance involved i don't take those comments as if he doesn't give a **** about black issues at all, because that isn't the message i've consistently gotten from him throughout the years. Comment was in poor taste no doubt but i don't like that people are trying to say he deserves this due to some comments made 5 years ago.

I think his comments were directed towards him mentioning things like Ferguson or activism in his music, it's clear as day that he's not well versed in those subjects & in that case why would he try to delve into it in his music? i see why their would be hesitation because instead of the reaction he got to the comments

there would be the other side of the outrage who would look at his lifestyle, some of the circles he's around & how deep he is into fashion & then criticize him for trying to "take advantage" of the situation for clout or selfish reasoning.

Unless your a dude like Cole/Kendrick who's been on that type of time since the beginning, i can say that rappers in other lanes do get flack when they attempt to touch on social issues & get called things like a "fake woke".

Blacks in entertainment industry have been Hoodwinked.

Unlike their white counterparts who get to be musicians/artist only and can engage in social issues at will, black entertainers have the burden of being entertainment and political leaders. 100% of their actions and words held to a high standard while their counterparts get to "experiment, go through phases".
Miley Cyrus for example. Justin Beiber for example

ASAP just admitted to be unqualified to speak on those issues, but the position he's in he has an extra job just because he's black. Blacks don't have the privilege of just being one thing. This is a truth that I think celebrities like Will and Jay have come to embrace.

Great point. I find the same thing while participating on this forum. Many here claim to be NOT racists, however once you sart talking about being Black, or living in the Black experience? They want you to shut up and not ruining their threads.

Talk about sneakers, women and partying? They are all with you on that!

Context: KHUFU KHUFU goes into the Fools Wylin' thread and starts posting about racial issues, often times unprovoked and without any real reason. Many of these posts have been deleted by mods because they derail the thread or just take things too far.

One such post was when he posted pics of whites from the Civil Rights era and labeled it "the original fools wildin" and then went on a long rant that alluded to an inevitable race war. Some of the details could be off on that, but the subject matter was close enough.

I'm convinced he's actually Nomad just based off the fact that he's falling into his usual pattern of behavior (starts off normal, starts becoming more prevalent in threads posting questionable ****, starts unraveling, and gets banned).

Yet another white man coming into a Black Culture thread, then telling Black people how to think and act.

Never told you how to think or anyone else how to act. Just told you, individually, to stop ****posting and derailing in that thread.

Considering a lot of your posts were deleted, it seems like I'm onto something.

Many posts in the thread were deleted, not only my own. However, you are in the Black culture thread, attempting to tell Black people how they should behave. Get out.

It was more than just that one comment though. He went on TBC after that to try to "clean it up" and dug the hole more. He's just one of these _'s that got a lil money, fame, smashed some white broads and walks around with his head in the clouds. Ferg said something ignorant around that time too. Like "racism is all the past because me and my brother can date white girls". They just clueless.

I'm not "canceling" Rocky or anything like that, I never really played his music anyway. I think it's f'ed up whats happening but I can't really support a dude that made it clear his mind is not on speaking up about racism at all. It's fashion and all stuff. Let's see if the fashion people speak up for him.

I will agree that rocky especially has been talking that we got love for everyone type talk for awhile but i really don't think it's from a place of malice. A$AP entire thing was being hood cats mixed in with that Soho crowd so i could see why in that circle they think it's all love, but at the same time those ****** are still too ingrained with cats straight out the hood to act as if we living in some post racial world. It's not like Rocky is superstar status to the point where he's completely removed, there's enough cats around him still living an everyday life for him to not realize what's really going on.

He def knows that racial tension is still wylin in this world, however speaking to the section of people (not you) i see online saying he deserves this situation because of his comments is exactly why i can't get behind a lot of these "activist" social media clowns in the first place. They always have their own vendettas & pick & choose when they wanna stand up for a black person or not. I hope Trump does get him out & he thanks him live on air, just so i could see the Hypocrisy & fake outrage from that same crowd

A question posed to anyone here. How long had Ninjahood been spouting his anti Black nonsense? Did he have many people cosigning that stuff here?
