i would think yes & no, you have to remember netflix generally doesn't give numbers on any of its content...it doesn't matter as such, they're in it for content that appeals to certain demographics within its subscriber base; so imcan imagine they might give things a try if the believe in something...but i would imagine netflix uses a broad base of metrics to decide what they will invest in & how much...to really validate her claim we'd need to know what the going rate for the typical comedian (or maybe comedienne, to be even more specific, and if you wanted to be laser focused black comediennes) at netflix (and they has been going in heavy on comedy specials, so they must have a good comparative analysis to decide what to give to whom) & in the market generally...
i would not be surprised if netflix was just much more willing to overpay for amy, chris, & dave because it might be worth it to basically exclusively (if it is exclusive) own that content, that said there definitely seems that not many black comediennes get the type of payday(s), & shine as their counterparts, it will be more telling if/when the likes of tiffany haddish get similar treatment...
