Yeah, he’s at the age where you’re supposed to make mistakes and shoot, if her **** means he gone play like an all pro and stay out of trouble, more power to him.

He probably never got attention from females as a kid so, whoever gave him attention first was gone reel him in.

Let him go through his growing pains

People freely sharing info on social media comes at a price. People need to realize that social media is essentially being used as a tool to gather data for analytics/AI so prices can be set in a capitalistic society.

Ehhh…. Economists don’t need social media/internet to know what’s selling.

Like converse knows that Los Angeles is one of its biggest markets or how Dickies knew that south Florida was a big market for them in the 80s and 2000s.

If you’re selling 5,000 crates of your products in one area, and let’s say 500 in another, chances are you know where your consumer base is located. It’s calculus

It does seem like ox tails have blown up in the past 10 years.

My mom made a good point not too long ago. We need to stop giving out our recipies on social media so much. The same people who be talking bout "cultural appropriation" be same one giving it away for some likes.

Look how Coca Cola guards its recipes and KFC keeps its famous “11 herbs and spices” close to the breast.

My grandma has a red velvet cake recipe that my family will never share

They can have the recipe for Oxtails and chittlins as far as I'm concerned.

I mean one tail only get you so much product so they have to get multiple tails to give enough so it makes sense why it cost so much in the states. That and white people Columbus-ing it.

These boys were on a mission!!

I was about to say, they going just as, if not MORE crazy in Texas. They've tried to put oxtails in everything from "Mexican" food to pizza.

I hear a lot of F-ery is going on when it comes to the food scene in ATL especially.

I don't see any white establishments serving oxtail like that but black folks been eating oxtail so it's not like we just discovered it.

Yes but social media influences people to consume things they probably wouldn't since they had no knowledge of it prior

Take example regional dressing that existed prior to social media.

Example: People in state A were wearing New Balance more than state B or C. The proliferation of social media now makes New Balance trendy from people in state A posting about them. People in state B and C have access to the same social media, see it trending and go out and buy New Balances. Now there is equal demand in A,B,C. New Balance is aware of this captive audience and raised prices from $100 to $150 because they are aware the demand is there and people will still pay for the same product at the increased price

this process was already fairly mature prior to the advent & ubiquitousness of social media…travel is really what blew up the spot on regionality in terms of aesthetic/fashion/style (specifically to new balance, they raised the prices not necessarily because of demand, but because the cost of labor (both abroad & here, they relatively recently revamped and increased their production in america) & materials has increased; to that end the have also ‘elevated’ their product offerings

i would say that much of the things we see on social media are high key overstated & don’t really get to the awareness of the masses, for as ‘popular’ as oxtails have gotten, most folk are completely unaware of this…not sure ‘sharing the sauce’ is that problematic

Yea all that, "Don't share recipes" sounds fine and dandy but if the world took that approach from Day 1 yall wouldn't like where we would be (currently) from a culinary standpoint.

Horrible advice because there are ALSO other BLACK people that gain new recipes/ideas from black people doing food related content online.

I didnt say, "dont share", I said stop giving it away on social media. There still word of mouth and passing it through your family, in laws included.
