Kids not getting sunlight because they sit INSIDE all day on gadgets and half their parents are afraid for them to play sports.

These people keep making more and more excuses for adults. Children don’t go outside anymore

Not just that, but the lack of amenities in new developments in the suburbs. I grew up in an older suburban community built in the 80s, there’s a community center, pool, basketball court, soccer field, tennis court. Townhome/Condo community too, so regular sized homes.

All the developments I see built after like 2005ish barely have playgrounds. Even within the city you’re hard pressed to find a basketball court because they’ve built more overpriced apartments. There’s hardly anywhere for kids to go.

My hot take that I don't think is a hot take-- Youth are currently the most uniquely underrepresented group of oppressed people worldwide and the recognition of their rights is a prerequisite of freeing all other oppressed people. Subjugation and social repression starts there first and by the time kids become 18 all the troublemakers/rebellious youth will have either locked themselves into a lower social caste or be so miseducated that they'll spend the rest of their lives trying to survive than be able to pinpoint the conditions they rebelled.

For truly free and democratic systems of governance to be realized, some form of youth suffrage is needed to follow global women's suffrage (100% srs)

Most likely this incident is another direct result of single parent households yet again. The vast majority of these dudes grew up with no father in the household so of course they aren’t going to respect a grown man out in public.

there could be some of that for sure, definitely in these times the almost reflexive troll nature is at play too, i also think, at least from some of what i’ve seen of videos from those camps, cam interacts in a maybe too familiar fashion and is willing joke & go back and forth a bit w/the banter it can blur lines…it crazy that they’d try to put hands & feets on that man, tho
