Big Baller Brand Thread- Lonzo Ball's first sneaker the ZO2! UNDEFEATED NEVA LOSST!!

Just noticed that if you want a bigger size (14 or 15), the price jumps to $700.

I'm sure they'll receive negative two orders

these joints are trash come on now reminds me of when designer brands try to sell ugly shoes for high prices  i will pay top dollar for a shoe that is worth it but these are not even worth 40 bucks to me

Pretty weird decision to not at least try to make the shoe look premium for what the price is

even these big companies know that bleeding the customer dry takes a little effort in presentation

I think that shiny fake python skin is them trying to look premium...

And this move is just gonna put an even larger target on Lonzo when he enters the league.

That kid is going to get clowned on by his peers in the L.  He's going to need to be mentally tough to handle it.

these look clean enough, (kobe influenced and all with what looks like some faux boost) but just watched the vid and I don't think these would hold up...vid alone shows Lavar's feet lifting and sliding out of the shoe just from a practice jump shot. Don't think they'd hold up in a real game. Also, Lavar has no charisma LOL, yeah highlight vids can make his on court play look good but not sure if that's gonna be enough. I think price point is fine ($350 might be better) for what they're trying to accomplish, imo "exclusivity for big ballers". Just my two cents...won't be copping but I'll be watching.

I wouldn't buy these if they were sittin on outlets for $50 with additional F&F 30% off

also looks like they stole some design from the Nike Kobe 8

Changing the game. I love it.

Shoes aren't bad, but they're not great. Either way, they can really affect change here should they do even marginally well. It'll be interesting to see how this goes.

I completely understand all the clowning of the shoe, price tag, etc. But everyone starts somewhere. And the ultimate goal of brand ownership is something I gotta respect.

why didnt nike/adidas just offer lavar a job to keep him busy so we could get down to business...

Two years ago I interviewed high school star Lonzo Ball postgame. Now I can't afford even one pair of his shoes. Life comes at you fast.

I must say, I'm quite impressed to see BBB will accept/offer no returns or exchanges. I'm sure there will be no need, as a $500 pair of Kobe knockoffs Lavar Ball produces in his garage is certain to be of immaculate quality and fit. I believe one of the early and age-old lessons taught by reputable business schools is, when launching an upstart brand and charging exorbitant prices for reasons no one can quite see, under no circumstance should you provide even average customer service to the handful of early adopters willing to take a risk on your brand. Indeed, it's a surefire way to gain huge marketshare.

Nike and Adidas must've laughed when they saw this. Pretty sad to be charging shoes for that much. Lonzo Ball can thank his dad for all this.

You damn well don't start at $500. Like it was said before $100-$225, order confirmations would have been all over social media. At $500, no one is touching them.

Also, a shipping date of Nov. 27th & no returns or exchanges doesn't help your start up brand.

I can't respect blatant greed by trying to rip people off.

At first I thought Lavar might actually been playing it smart by acting a fool to build up buzz and hype over his sons, but actually charging those insane amounts shows he's actually stupid and greedy.
