I'm a huge fan of Tank and Johnta Austin, but nobody on that list is even close to Ne-Yo. Not only can he write hits, but his writing style is whatseparates him from everyone else. He is mad creative.

Tank writes the best R&B music, he's got the smoothest lyrics out of all of them. Ne-Yo is mad nice too but he gets a little inconsistent at times. TheDream is really nice but he's also mad corny way too much. Sean Garrett is dope and I'm lovin' how he's starting to get a lot of love lately

You can't compare Ne-Yo and The-Dream at all.
They write different types of songs, but IMO have the same level of talent when it comes to vocal arrangements and creating infectious melodies but it'sabout personal preference when looking at those two.

Comparing Ne-Yo to someone like Johnta Austin is more believable,
and in that case I'm going with Johnta.

Comparing The-Dream to someone like Sean Garrett is more believable,
and in that case I'm going with The-Dream.
They are both known to make stupid songs, but SG moreso and his stupid songs are just really really bad.


Cristyle is coming up, just needs a larger catalogue.

The Clutch as a whole has fallen off in recent years but the group member Balewa Muhammad will always be near the top in mybook for all his work with Jahiem.
