Basketball Thread About Nothing

Throw some Dumas in there too. And then add in some Desmond Mason for good measure. So many great memories of old nba players.

For those not as old as me KJ has I think my second favorite dunk of all time.

Used to be a big fan - it’s a shame what he’s been up to since he retired from basketball - lots of scandals.

I was a huge fan as well. And then in the last 15 years or so, learned he has turned into an absolute garbage human being. It sucks.

That dunk is still one of my favorites to this day.

Speaking of KJ, I managed to see the Down in the Valley 30 for 30 online a few months back and it was a really good watch but kinda wild to see KJ be looked at as a hero in Sacramento with all that has come out these past years.

I played against Mason in HS and then his dad drove a truck for my company a few years back. Des bought his dad the brightest lit, shiniest rig and the first day a tow chain broke and went through the radiator.

Great basketball career. The missed free throws have clouded the general public's perception of him but solid dude man.

Y'all remember Gilchrist whatever his name was? Wasn't he supposed to be the second coming at one point?
MKG? Kind of like a poor mans Shawn Marion but injuries did him in. Seems like he worked hard to improve his jumper and he could have stuck around the league awhile longer if not for his health failing him.

Yeah that's the guy. The prototype for negative spacing.
They really drafted him over AD?!
