Bachelor Pad.

Anyone own one of these platform style beds?

Moving into a new spot and love the "modern" look but have some questions on practicality especially for "sexy time".

Getting rid of my California King. I only sleep on the side of the bed close to lamp and phone.

I slept on one of those plat form beds. Look cool on photos but too low to the ground and hard to get out of.

Been busy/fun with projects. Been meaning to paint the fireplace for a while, finally got around to it.

How was the process and what did you use? I have a red brick fireplace that I’m looking to do white

Here are the two paints that I used. It took about two hours or so paint time, I only did two coats for the brick and used the whole can of spray paint for the cover. It’s super simple, just make sure you tape/mask off your working area well.

Looks great. I’ll try and get some before and after pics once I do it

curious why so many people put tvs up so high? having it at eye level or lower is a much better viewing angle

Even with a restoration hardware deep *** couch, my neck hurts. Can't wait for this remodel to be so I can put the tv between 2 windows instead

I’m looking for a vacuum recommendation. Preferably something that can convert into a hand vac for sofas/mattress.

This but people see the empty space above the fireplace and think that's the best place to put the TV but it's not good for you neck too

I could understand the reasoning why you shouldn't put it over the fireplace but if you have a really good tv viewing angles shouldn't be too much of a problem. Especially if you have the couch in good distance so you can slouch for those chill days.

Just got my offer accepted on a new place. Needs some updates inside but should work well for a couple years.
