4wrestling, nice new place!

i love old warehouses/factories that have been re-purposed into condos/lofts. i would bet philadelphia has lots of places like that.

philly actually seems reasonably affordable. you're fortunate to be able to put down 20%, though... mortgage insurance is no joke.

Yall will probably think I'm strange, but the part I like most about 4W's place that I would love to have someday is the kitchen. Stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, and granite counter tops with a nice backsplash are a dream of mine....and I hardly ever cook. It doesn't make any sense to me but I love that stuff.

^ You sir are not strange. Nothing sexier than stainless steel appliances/granite counter tops/new cabinets.

I hate the thought I might not have someone to talk to daily when I'll eventually move out

I can be really social but I'm not good in making new friends in a new place.

Coffee tables that can be used for storage, dining and working are the ultimate examples of multi-functionality. The tops can be raised into a higher position, transforming the table into the perfect spot for TV dinners and late-night work. Built-in storage hides remote controls, magazines and all other living room essentials.

Functional furniture for storage is a great idea if you have limited space.

Decided to go against getting a coffe table when I moved into my new place, but that's copped.  I need a place to hide all my remotes/controllers

It's a great coffee table, but it's also $1100.  I walked into Bo Concept here in Philly and almost choked when I started looking at the price tags.  But if that's in your price range, then props to you.

yeah, I'd prefer NOT to spend that much, anybody have any suggestions on something similar to that one?

I have heads over all the time.  Trust me, once you have your own place, your people's won't have any problem getting comfy in there as well.  You're problem will be getting comfy kicking them out all the time

It's not the same style, but this is the coffee table I ordered (Fawn colorway):

Check out the site.  They have a lot of really cool coffee tables for a hell of a lot cheaper than Bo Concept.

pretty clean. is that leather? i'm a big can of high-quality cloth over leather, but that's just my preference, that couch you posted is still dope.
where is it from? how's the pricing?

@4wrestling: sweet baby Jesus, your place is amazing. You can do so much with that! I love how your 'bedroom' is open to the space.

old factory do ups is where its at, apartment wise.

@gottagitdemjs you're not strange sir. However as amazing as granite looks, it's always cold to the touch and it's a #$$!! to install because of the weight. Not to mention price.

If I ever get into property development, I'll be looking to do up factories and the like. Mad love for brick interior walls that are common in them.

I like it minus the chrome feet.  It takes a nice couch and makes it look tacky to me.

how many of yall live in a loft?
I found one that I love, but they're only for sale and start around 200k

maybe when i graduate
