Why would a round earth create gravity?? Why wouldnt a trapezoid earth create the same effect?

I don't know if it's even that serious, I think it's just money.
In NOVEMBER there is a Flat-Earth convention where they will be of course pushing this idea and making sure it gains more steam.
A convention, Comic-Con style where they will be selling Flat-Earth everything, books, clocks, shirts, pictures, keychains etc.
Upon researching I found a few sponsors of the event, one in particular is this non-profit org that is known to be NYSTV.
This NYSTV is a Media Company is set up the same way that something like TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) is. (Church Racket Style)
You can make "faith donations" buy books, buy gear, buy anything with....well I won't bore you with the details.
They call themselves a Ministry.
Flat-Earth doesn't seem to be something that they push or a Big Proponent of at first dig, they are based on promoting Yeshua, or Jesus. (not to say the two can or can't be connected here)
However, they deal in all things like Nephillism, Wiccan, Secret Societies etc.....basically any and all conspiracy theory that drives interest and makes, ding ding ding, MONEY.
Flat-Earth in my opinion SEEMS like it is a sure a cult style religion based idea designed to disempower someone enough to get their money and time.
