Asics Love?!? Where is it?

I don't know about y'all and your pairs, but the phys ed's (sbtg) seriously might be the best constructed glv to come out. My pair literally has no flaws. Not even glue stains or pre creasing on the heel/midsole. Shows Asics can still have great quality control when they want to.

You're not alone.  The quilted toebox and side panel design behind the stripes makes them too busy for my taste.  I can appreciate the design, but would never wear them.

They remind a lot of the ST33 new balances. My first and only pair of the series was the black 998 of the luggage pack. Conceptually daring, but when it came to wearing them, the satin lining made my feet slide out of the shoes with every step even though they supposedly fit.

I'm a simple dude these days, suede and mesh are enough to make me happy.

A few reasons, IMO... it was an older unreleased sample that people lusted after for a while, it's actually a wearable colorway that people genuinely like regardless of hype, but the fact that they are a 25th anniversary pair that was also hyped means that there were additional people after them.
