I saw on HALs instagram the "no pigs were harmed in the making" of their gl3. Does that mean they are all synthetic materials?

I love most things HAL does, but I just can't get with these 25th GL3s they're dropping. That colorway and the shiny cracked leather behind the logo just aren't for me. However, I hope all of the good people in this thread that want them can get them with ease!

Pretty sure nubuck and leather are from a cow so..

Leather, suede, nubuck, can all be made from pretty much any animal hide. Cow, goat, pig, deer, horse, ostrich, kangaroo, croc etc. Idk why pig is all the rage when it comes to sneakers these days? So all "no pigs were harmed" means is that they slaughtered something else lol unless they used synthetic [emoji]128534[/emoji] lets hope not.

Nubuck, leather, and suede all com from an animal hide...whether thats pig or cow or something else. 

I just think its weird that they would say no pigs were harmed when cows were. Seems like they are trying to promote it like they are being vegan. Which is why i asked about synthetics.

GT2s do not fit big imo..

I can go same size as GL3 and V

GT2s are TTS for me.

Yea, $130 sounds a lot better. $165 shipped is kinda rough on Kayanos that usually don't sell well. I think the "don't sell well" factor is why production is supposedly so low on these.
