Asics prices are now worse than remastered Jordan prices? Lol. They must have a rly dedicated fan base. I don't even pay $200 for J's.

They have momentum right now but I really think this a bad move on their part. One of the pluses to the brand was the price, their materials are forgettable and not what the market wants to pay for with asics. They will soon realize the mistake they made. Should have bumped the price, but not as much as they did. weak

If that is the case then a $200 GR would be $160 usd. Much more appropriate. Thought Asics was smoking crack for a second

You can see the GR goretex GLVs on the american site - 130 - same as retail elsewhere, I think we're good.

hahaha wow that was a stressful few moments. $160 is still steep for a GR in my opinion. I'll probably avoid them at that price and just stick to collabs.

Might still get the concepts GLV but honestly... shipping and customs from concepts kills almost any release. As for GR's... if they are really bumping up the price, that would be insane. You're going to see some of the smaller shops drop their products because it just won't sell. We're talking GR's... not even a collab. Their GR's have average materials. People already don't like paying retail and will usually wait it for coupons or disco.

I think the reaction to the concepts that are releasing would be a little better if we had never seen the sample pairs floating around. Not sure why they changed it up, like what the logic was for that but, either way they're not a and looking shoe.
