ahh alright. I remember a couple years after I graduated they added like an essay and made the max score 2400. Glad they ended that mess.
edit: google says that lasted from 2005-2015. essay is so subjective, nonsense to add it to a standardized test.

What's even dumber is they basically graded on a preset rubric so as long as you hit all the things they were looking for, you maxed out the essay score no matter if the essay was good or not.

I messed up on my SAT's. Only got a 1240 out of 1600. Struggled with some of the math sections. Didn't know it was better to leave some answers blank than just choosing a bunch of Choice: C.

Standardized tests are BS. I've always scored low on every subject since elementary but yet I was an honor student until I graduated. Didn't get accepted to a lot of universities based on these test scores also. Got recommendation letters sent in, argued I graduated in the top percentages of my class and still got denied from most colleges.

No I'm saying that there's always going to be something else to deal with if you go to Asia. Meaning being in the majority doesn't eliminate all problems.
