Are the Columbia Xi suppossed to be like this? (pics included)

Ok i saw this pic in one of NT members collections. Isnt there supposed to be more spacing between the 2 and the 3? Could these be B grades? Let me know.

the space has become smaller over the years due to age, stretching and relaxing of the black elastic part the white print is on. just my .02
