damn, I and thought that's what Bluetooth devices were for :\
exactly im the same way...especially with cloud storage etc.... i just keep a phone. End of the day its basically buying to exact same devices except one has built in phone features. its just consumerism and wasting money.
Wish i could keep my JBed iphone 4S for all eternity....but planned obsolesce is a mother. Guess i will have no choice but to upgrade.
My primary phone function is music. I have loved my 4S's size for gym convenience and running. I want nothing to do with a bigger phone. And everyone is always "just get an ipod" but i don't want to carry around 2 devices im always on the go and its super easy to have a phone that does everything
Apple believe it or not for as much as ppl say they are innovative and ahead of the curve, are pretty much taking cues and copying the few consumers who mod/alter be it j/b etc... their products and improve/tweak them.
Pretty much every improvement and change apple has made over the last several yrs have been inspired, stolen, or outright paid for and copyrighted from the jailbreak/mod scene
i got ios 8 beta....
i got ios 8 beta....
a few things..
1. the new message is basically a rip of bitesms and snapchat...to which snapchat is a rip off of an older tweak.
2. the new activator is basically activator cydia app
3. the new control center operates pretty much like cc controls.
4. the new widget mode etc... is like a cheap knockoff of lockscreen and intelliscreen
5. they basically stole folder enchancer
6. the new blacklist option is basically iblacklist
7. they have a new setting to control ad blocking ie... the cydia app adblocker
8. the new camera features were stolen from camera+ cydia tweak...including tagging pics..and adding a description to the pic and organized albums.... timer...steady shot
9. their is suppose to be an added feature to alter status bar aka add date, weather, changer carrier name.... I think we all know that was stolen from jailbreak
10. alternate keyboards including a swype option.....
Not to mention being able to record your display and a few other additions...
Ppl may say oh the jb/mod scene is small etc... and not a large pie in the community. But if that werent true...apple wouldnt be stealing ideas, and paying off/buying/hiring tweakers/hackers from the jb community.
I would like a bigger screen, but definitely not a phablet. Has to small enough to fit in my pocket still.IMO iPhones are the perfect size....at dudes wanting ipad sz phones. Can't eem fit in their pocket, need a backpack to carry their phone.
I'm good on all that.
true both are guilty of doing it...its just apple is more polarized. Dont get me wrong ios 8 is cool minus a few bugs... But apple/android are in a standstill kinda position... we wanna stop modding/hacking etc... but in doing so that will stop the ideas they are stealing... and if they just come out with every mod/tweak/hack feature all in one phone... it would stifle sales and ppl wouldnt go out and buy the "NEXT BIG THING" if every possibility etc was all in a phone they already have.and most of those sound like things we've BEEN seen in android, minus a few things
YesIt's a phone. Who cares if they hold it up to their ear to answer? People are getting too stupid with the judgments of what phones people have and how they use them.
This is my EXACT scenario. I love my 4s, pandora downloader and the skip function is the truth. There is not much difference between a 4s and 5.Wish i could keep my JBed iphone 4S for all eternity....but planned obsolesce is a mother. Guess i will have no choice but to upgrade.

yea and no... a jb one then nah outside of speed...a better camera speakers etc.... but its not like some game changing HUGE difference... to me the 3gs and 4s were probably apples best overall phones in terms of quality etc... for the time of their release. This is my EXACT scenario. LTE was the game changing difference between the 4s and 5. 3G is a joke and I'm unlimited on Verizon so it was definitely worth the jump.yea and no... a jb one then nah outside of speed...a better camera speakers etc.... but its not like some game changing HUGE difference... to me the 3gs and 4s were probably apples best overall phones in terms of quality etc... for the time of their release.
