APPLE MAC STORE IS NOW LIVE AND OPERATIONAL PIC INSIDE!!!

That twitter app is no different than TweetDeck or any other app designed to use Twitter.

The web interface for Twitter is pretty bad.

Umm you do realize there are more than just Twitter apps in the App store. That is just one option. There are already hundreds of apps and this is just the first day. Ok enough of this, I need to get back to my project.
Umm I do realize that.  But sheep will flock.  Carry on.

*And I am a Mac/iPhone user.

I love how people use the whole flock of sheep example. We are ALL sheep flocking to something in one way or another...we just choose in which way and what product/service/idea. "Sheep" flock to, mobile phones, the internet, and technology in general. So if you utilize any of the aforementioned you are indeed sheep too.

I just so happen flock to Apple/Mac, I don't really care too much for how ornery Steve Jobs can be, but I like the products that the company he represents produces. My computing experiences go waay back to the TRS-80, the Vic 20, the Commodore 64, the Macintosh, the IBM PC Jr., the Amiga, and modern PC's. But I have settled with Apple. Guess that makes me a mindless sheep huh?

Ok possibly I did, maybe not, but there is definitely almost always a pervasively snide comment made about Apple and people who buy/support their products...even from people who buy their prouducts (comments like "and I'm actually typing this from my 15" MBP).

- true. and even though i know you werent talking to me, my comments werent just about Apple but other tech companies that make it their business to keep us stupid.

- on one hand it lines their pockets, but at the same time it hinders other technologies that can potentially bring more money to that same company.

- i feel the same way about search engine toolbars, (some) apps, homepage redirects, "googleing", "AOL keywods", the list goes on.

it's not like their forcing you to use these dumb-down webpages.
