Anyone successfully land a job thru Craigslist?

There are good jobs on craigslist. It just takes some time and patience to find them. The job I'm currently at I found on craigslist. It's the best job I've had. I'm in Florida btw.

The job I had before this one was a found on CL, paid 11 bucks an hour, which is rich when the median income per household here is 38k a year. But when I left that job to go to the current one I have I got called by 4 different listings asking if I was still interested even though it had been a couple of months after I inquired.

I got my last job from craigslist. All i did was email them and they responded within a few days. didnt even call until later, didnt have a resume either

Can anyone help me out with some nice examples of cover letters? Im fresh out of college and looking for a basic entry I.T. job or anything I could gain some experience. I just feel like my cover letter is somewhat weak.

Another question...For the people thats gotten jobs, how do you go about submitting your resume to the post that dont have the company names? A lot of post only have basic info about the jobs without company names. I usually just say something generic about being interested in the job but im afraid sometimes it just sounds so broad but without the company name, its kinda hard to personalize it

The craigslist ads for jobs without much information represents the potential employer IMO. If it looks like a 5th grader wrote the ad and didn't include much info imagine what working there is going to be like. Skip it and move on to the next one. My two cents anyway.

I got one job off Craigslist back in 03. Most recently a few interviews from replying to some job ads but no actual jobs. However, alot of so-called employers email you back asking you to fill out a pre-employment credit check which of course is scam. So I try to only respond to posting that mention an actual business name & location.
