Anyone play pokemon on the DS?

specifically the pokemon pearl or diamond
im tryin to get that machamp, alakazam and a few other of the original pokemon but i think you gotta trade to get them smh
can anyone shed some light on this?

yea i know i still play pokemon but every since i picked this up last week i cant stop

Nah, once you beat the Elite 4 you can get most of the old Pokemon in Diamon/Pearl/Platinum. Mainly, just the legendaries and starters you need to trade for.

I mean I think they classify it as an RPG but I mean a lot more free roaming like a FF, RE, GTA, etc

invested 548 hours into that game and i still play
gold and silver getting retroed for the ds, coming out next year for us
