Anyone Collect Sports Cards?

Probably a bunch of non signed cards or signed cards that he never sent back to Upper Deck. Giannis recently posted a bunch of his cards that were signed or not signed sitting at his house. I am sure this happens more often than not with the amount of cards that are being sent out to the players to sign and send back.

The 97-98 Fleer Ultra base card with the photo of him from the dunk contest may be my favorite.

I stopped collecting around 94/95, right before Kobe (and others) came into the league. Missed out on Kobe and Lebron...

What would be a decent under appreciated Lebron rookie I could look into picking up. As I said last week I sold my Topps chrome 2 years ago and no way could afford it again at the moment but are there any under appreciated ones that are still obtainable?

I know this sounds like a stupid *** question, but for baseball is there like a "true" rookie card. I see some Topps "update" cards that still have the RC logo, and they still sell for a decent amount. Just wondering if like 1 RC is more "legit" then others

I'm not 100% sure. There's a few, but the big miss is I don't have his Chrome.

The reason I did this is I was readin thru Beckett and saw a note on the Kobe/Bron card from around 2008-09. They said it was sellin like crazy. I thought I might have it but wasn't sure, well.

And I agree, that Ultra 2nd year card is beautiful.

Baseball is very hard because of Bowman.

The "rule" is the true RC is year he arrives in majors. Like Acuna in 2018. But Bowman produces "first" cards 1-2 years earlier while they in the minors. Both become highly sought.

A lot of this stuff is going up so quick that you gotta jump on it now or prepare to pay stupid bread in the near future

I would just start looking at ebay searches and sold listings to figure out whats in your budget man.

Ive been bullish on Select Courtside (Field Level for football) and I knew it was SP but I had no clue what to even expect as far as print runs go.

Guessing its just estimates but I just pulled this from sportscardanalytics.com:

Courtside base at only 800 copies and 40 silvers is super short print.

Dont sleep on this stuff. The Select Field Level stuff is a LOT cheaper than Courtside right now. Obviously basketball demand is way higher but there are still deals/steals to be had

who you tellin! thats why I came in and was asking. Seems even some of the basic RC of his are picking up. Looking at this has really made me kick myself for what I sold my chrome and prestine RC's for. I legit lost out on a lot of money. smh. I didn't even want to sell them i just did it to pay for the wedding. Thats why I'm looking to add something to the collection. My Shaq beam team, kobe finest, and Griffey that I wanna send in arn't going any where at this point. I just need a lebron to add and I'll be good.

BtownKj I feel you man. Honestly if you are ever gonna sell, a wedding is as legit of a reason as there is! Prices are obviously crazy right now but they will be even crazier in the future so hopefully you can still get in and cop something thats within the budget. You can also look at raw cards, might be able to snag a deal that way.
