Anyone a member of DirectBuy?

I finally bought a stove and a fridge but now I'm looking for some furniture - I saw theIkea post a while backed and I decided to stay away from that stuff (I purchased their stuff before and I'm not too pleased). I went to Bob's lastnight I was impressed with their selections and the prices were nice. I saw an ad on TV for DirectBuy and I was wondering if anyone ever buy anything from thembefore. They operate sort of like a Costco/ BJ - you have to be a member.

You bought a place or just moved out? If the latter, I'd advise Craigslist it up.

If you wanna go new - Lowe's jus had an LG fridge at a good deal. I'll try and find again. How much you lookin spend?

Kenmore is good.

I have a stainless steel Kenmore dishwasher.

I think we have an Amanna Stainless fridge, no handle, has the groove between the fridge and freezer to open

GE microwave and GE stove, ceramic top (which look cool but a pain) both stainless.

Peep consumer reports.

Most of us aren't living HOVKids life, so realistically, what's your budget?

I just a bought a co-op and I move in later this month. My budget would be 1500 max for both the stove and fridge since I have to get a bedroom set and furnishthe living room also.

Look at some GE appliances then or Kenmore (Sears home brand which others manufacture for them)

Go to a mom and pop type place as opposed to home depot, lowes, etc...my friend who does home flipping just says what he's got to spend and what he needsand they make it work.

Samsung stainless steel appliances. I haven't had any issues with mone and had em for 2 years.
