Anybody have any info on these Dos Equis samples?

I was searching the eBays and came across these Dos Equis samples. I've never seen them before and was wondering if anybody has any info on them?

i would assume these were supposed to come out with the heineken dunks & pabst angus but i guess never made it.

^Yea they were part of the SB 6-pack, I remember seeing these in the buy/sell lounge a while ago.

Yeah they got scrapped. I think it had to due with the heineken dunk catching heat from the beer company. I could be wrong.

The pair of URL's I had were awesome.  They were no E-cue, but they were very comfortable.  Wish I had more pairs.

yep. The Heinekens and Pabst were stopped due to Cease and Desist. I'm pretty sure the Heinekens flew off shelves so the notices didn't matter, but for they did recall the Blue Ribbons I think
Does anyone remember what the other beers to be included in the pack were? If I remember correctly 1 or 2 more samples surfaced? I know

You are correct sir. Nike was forced to recall the Heineys and Blue Ribbons because of the use of copyrighted logos (ie. Heineken Star, Pabst Blue Ribbon).

Because of this, Nike decided not to release the rest of the pack. As far as the rest of the 6-pack, I can only think of 2 off the top: Dos Equis URL and Yeungling URL. There was a Heineken URL that was up on ebay several months ago that sold for around $900 I believe, but I think they were samples that were made together with the dunks and Nike decided to release the dunk in the pack instead of the URL.

That leaves us with 4 total (Heiney dunk, Pabst Angus, Dos Equis URL, Yeungling URL). 5 if you count the Heiney URL. I have always been dying for any information about the rest of the pack, but have yet to find someone who knows anything of substance.

I had heard at the time that there was an E-Cue that was to be released in the pack, but I've never seen or heard of a sample so I can't really say.

What about the Mickeys Dunk Hi sample?

Thanks for that information pdoggy85, I never knew about some of that stuff. As for these dos equis, I think a dunk, executed similarly to the lobsters in colorway would have fit much nicer.
