it's kind of a broad question but does anyone here have a job or career in the writing field?

what do you do?

how did you get started?

do you like your job?

I did well in college in a couple writing classes I had, but took different career paths. Was even offered a job at a local newspaper from one of my professors at the time who was an adjunct, she thought highly of my work but I just never pursued it.

Been thinking about it lately as a career change, I enjoy it and it comes easy to me. But I just have little to no idea of where to even start.

It's one of the hardest industries to get into. Do not quit your job until you are offered a legitimate full time position. It's something you can do on the side.

Went to school to be a writer. Definitely hasn't worked out for me yet...
