Anonymous takes down Department of Justice, RIAA, Motion Picture Association and Universal Music

What do you know... the FBI site is down for me. Intriguing.

Knowing my luck I've just got a dodgy web connection though.

They must be about that life

Though it began as a legitimate topic, it quickly became a discussion for lonely teens seeking alternative sites to steal porn.  Cry me a river.
Some topics just don't work on NT.  We don't have the resources to sit around all day trying to weed out all the piracy/porn replies from a thread about megaupload and you guys have proven pretty consistently that you're not willing to step up and report such violations in order to keep those types of threads open.  As such, a lock is the only option.

Could you lock the Common/Drake thread in music & the NFC championship thread in S&T? Those dudes are being straight petty...

SMH like someone said, I could see the government brainwashing the uneducated US people into thinking guys like Anonymous will hack your computer if you don't support SOPA. And I can see the American people eat it up too.

However, it's truly a testament to our leadership in this country when the government is trying to control the only way to get unbiased truth. The internet should remain neutral.

Anon? Or a force much bigger than Anon that we all trust, although pretty skeptical of, that would have everyone's info anyway...

This force would release random people's info, under the guise of 'Anon', sending the American people into panic, and thus

Everyone supports SOPA, it's passed, and Anon magically vanishes...

An online false flag attack. It has been written, lul.

Its already been done.
The word "Terrorist" is the new "communist." It elicits the same emotional reactions.
Look at how they treat "conspiracy theorists"

They're masterminds at redirecting people to think certain things. People are too lazy to investigate labels and determine whats really being said.

The word on certain circles is that now China will support US intervention in Iran because we backed off the Keystone pipeline to allow China to get the contract...

But thats..."a conspiracy"

Mega’s competing music venture is/was called Megabox, a site that would soon allow artists to sell their creations directly to consumers. And unlike the traditional record deals where artists get only a fraction of the revenue, with Megabox the musicians would get to keep 90% of earnings.
they were worried

No one else saw this? Corporate money is powerful as hell

The govt and anyone else on top likes the status quo. Its not surprising that they are clamping down on innovation.

laugh if you want, but their "trolling" is doing a lot more to raise awarness than you are deriding their efforts.
Hopefully their repeated attacks bring light to the issues and help to INSPIRE others to take more active roles in reform.

Every little bit counts.

If Anon is useless, so were all the protests of yesterday.
