i dunno why theres so much hate on breen because hes not a homer? you guys should feel honored hes on espn and is our play by play guy... sure hes not perfect and can be a butt kisser but hes a solid play by play guy and teamed up with clyde is the best commentators in the league together

Deep down he's a Knick fan at heart but he's a professional first. I still miss Marv Albert tho, can't believe he got fired by MSG for criticizing the Knicks on air but he wasn't fired for sexually assaulting some broad.

Eh, only have ourselves to blame. Poor defense in the 1st half and just plain poor scrambling unlucky bounces for the last possession of the game. That shot by Johnson was Robert Horry-esque.
At least the team showed they had fight in them being so undermanned. I'll enjoy watching the 3rd and half of the 4th on the rerun tomorrow.

Honored? F that guy. Always pandering to our opposition. I don't enjoy 3 hours of always hearing what my team is doing wrong and the other team is doing right. Doesn't matter if we're winning or losing he's always making comments that show a certain level of disdain for the Knicks. I want a commentator who can call it how it is not one who gets excited when the opposition hits a big shot

like i said breen is not a homer... what do you expect? it is what it is... you can only appreciate a good commentator on what you think and not the popular decision... i actually think hes fair compared to marv when the knicks were actually garbage... at least with breen hes PC about it instead of hatin like marv

Dolan about that sexual harassment life.I'm over Breen, rubs me the wrong way indeed but I tune him out at times and Clyde's cleverness and humor at times balances it out or makes fun of it. His reaction to the blocked shot was appropriate compared to Breen's though
Breen was on some And1 reaction. What's worse about Breen is how he sucks ref penis no matter what. I remember a few games ago he thought a call was obvious and going one way and the refs ruled the opposite which was wrong and he tried to flip it and explain that side weakly, Clyde had to tell him that's a reach. I'd love to hear more fans from other teams rate our commentators cuz to me most others especially for good teams are horrible and unbearable and makes me wonder how they deal with it (Sean Elliot, Brevin Knight, Clippers, Lakers and on the flip for bad teams their commentators seems so depressed; Wiz, Cha, Wolves, Det, etc.

He does that garbage ALL the time. Just wishy washy and overprotective of the refs. It goes like this. Ref makes bad call. Breen agrees with bad call and chastises player for putting himself in that position. Replay shows no foul. Breen plays it off by explaining what the refs probably saw and how player was overzealous.
