every year we don't get reparations makes it harder to trace the descendants owed (or easier to make up excuses about it)...this is money was earned only about 3 generations ago (ppl ignore that slavery was only like 150 years ago, not to mention reconstruction/jim crow that came after)

the descendants of the post civil war freedman that were promised 40 acres and a mule should get the land or its dollar equivalent...its not like the US doesn't have the money

This happens to be a topic I care deeply about and for. A thread that promotes division (which is what this thread is) instead of discussion is apart of the problem. There will be people here who argue the policy side (theres no way it can be done) to logistics (who would get them) Which are all different ways of ignoring the true issue at hand. Frankly black people should be used to people pillaging and demeaning them only to reap the benefits of their labor and suffering. Dominicans, like every other person who looks the part would be lining up around the block to receive their "fair share" Ninjahood would surely post about Malcolm, and remind everyone how his ancestors fostered the Harlem Renaissance.
