That’s his “appeal”. People go to him to point and laugh. At this point he’s self aware of that and just uses it. I guess to “give him credit” (I mean that in the most disrespectful way possible) he openly plays that card. I think years back, whitlock used to guest host on pti. tony and wilbon seemed to be close friends with him. Wonder if it’s still that way with the nonsense he’s been saying for the past decade.

Why is first things first 3 hours now? There's not a sports show in the world that should be on for 3 hours a day.

There is zero chance TK even thinks about him at this point. TK even dropped politics stuff on his podcast years ago. Wilbon might talk to him in passing, but I doubt it.

I remember a while ago on his podcast or PTI he said he likes Whitlock and why not, we’re prepping him to take my job one day. This was in the timeframe when Whitlock was a regular on PTI. But like you stated, no idea where that relationship is now.
