That's a weird cover. Not in their full team uniforms and standing near palm trees.

I don't think people have an issue with giving others second chances.

It's the fact that solid talent gets overlooked for their FIRST chance every time you give yet ANOTHER chance (or two or three) to someone who screwed up.

Not so much to do with "cancel culture".

Yeeh because people in life don’t deserve second chances right? Really getting tired of this cancel culture nonsense.
he's out of jail and already has a daily radio show and it's broadcast daily on the sny network. he doesn't need a second chance, he's doing just fine. guy is still a scumbag and fs1 doesn't need another show based on arguing and hot takes.

Joy bae trying to be on every fs1 show. I think marcellus left speak for yourself, wonder where he's going.

It's Pat McAfee's world we just livin in it

Pat McAfee joining ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ full-time

ESPN’s College GameDay has reportedly added former NFL punter and popular multimedia star Pat McAfee to its permanent lineup, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

McAfee, 35, will continue to do his daily talk show that currently airs on YouTube. In addition, McAfree announces for WWE's Friday Night Smackdown (along with wrestling the occasional match), is hosting his own “simulcast” for six select college football games this season to be aired on ESPN2, and he has reportedly held talks with Amazon about being a part of its “Thursday Night Football” coverage. McAfree is also in a four-year deal with FanDuel which pays him a total of $120 million.

McAfee also hinted at yet another big move in a tweet on Tuesday night, writing "Massive announcement coming at some point this week..truly Bananaland."

these shows even a step up?

This particular show doesn't feel like a step-up for her bc it already looks like a disaster. But maybe the execs feel it's better than having her sit off to the side on Cowherd's show and be utilized only when he's on vacation.

The chemistry is way off with her, Shady, Acho, and the other random dude. I definitely didn't agree with a lot of Wiley's views (too often sounded like Whitlock) but him and Acho were like Jada and Ghost as far as how they bounced off of each other. Now you have 4 people trying to squeeze takes in. Even the name of the show now is awkward. Instead of Speak for Yourself, they simply shortened it to Speak.

And First Things First finally brought everybody back to the studio and ditched Jenna as host. But I'd argue that they had their best success when they did the show from home and each of them were looking directly into the camera. New/(old) set-up looks just like everything else on tv now. I mean, what's the difference between 'Speak' and 'First Things First' now?? Also, it's no longer airing "first" so they should have definitely tweaked that name.

Network sports tv is in a rut and has been for a minute now.

Can't wait to see the disaster that will be NBA Countdown this season. :smh:
