It's a good looking shoe honestly, surprised by how official detailed pics and on feet shots changed my mind from previously thinking they were bad, although having said that still not biting, possibly at a deep discount down the road but even then I owned xx8s and xx9s and have sold them all... Learned my lesson

I wouldn't say the 3,4,5 had minor tweaks as far as looks wise. I guess it's easy for the people who put Tinker on a pedestal to agree with him.

I don't own 29s but is that cushioning great enough to warrant using it again?

Yessiir!  If you ball on the regular  you'll find that the cushioning system is a beast.  Not as much bounce as the XX8 though.  But still very good.  If you can pick up a pair I would highly suggest it.

This isn't about looks, this is about them re-using the sole of a shoe and claiming its a new shoe. Am I supposed to call the 18.5s XIXs now? Because that would be just as logical as calling these things the XXX.

'If you can't improve on the design why re-design it?" I don't know, Tinker. Maybe "If you can't improve the design 2 years into a redesign then you should retire because you're done."

k, so the Flight 89 and the Jordan 4 are the same shoe. GOT IT!  the Son Of Mars low is also the same shoe. GOT IT! 

apparently your entire argument is based on the looks.

Also, it's definitely telling that the M12 this year didn't take after the xx9 since they have been having major items from the sig Jordan. The M12 usually would have had the midsole at the very least

 

that's a good point too. they also delayed the M12 as well. doesn't the Melo usually drop in early Dec? 

i think with the Melo it's easier for them to design a new shoe because the flightplate/speed is within the phylon midsole. The XX9's flightplate IS basically the midsole at the mid foot.
