My feature pair arrived yesterday. Leather is very nice. Overall quality seems great. The "peaks" on the front of pair are a little too rounded for my liking though. Overall, happy with the shoe.

Saw a pair of Cardinals for 30% off at the Nike Factory store today. Didn't have my size, or I would have picked up. $147 + tax

The thickness of the leather cuts that they used for the overlays was a really nice touch. Adds to the og feel.
Comfort is also on point. They’ve been on their game with their og retros lately. They did mess up the carmine 6s and the fire red 4s but these cardinals, the fire red 3s, fire red 5s, and chi 2s have all been phenomenal.

These are my first VII's and my pair feel a touch narrow on feet, will these loosen up and break in over time?

They might get more comfortable as you go. I have the 2015 French Blues, and compared to my other 7s I have (06 and earlier), they fit narrow at the toe, but not uncomfortable, but they did feel better as I wore them more. Hope that helps.

I always tell myself I'ma cop these, but never do. These are definitely the weakest pair of OG 7s, but I still l9vr them and would like a pair. I'm not dropping retail + tax on em tho. I'm way more selective at this point and I chose the 2s over these.

Same, I went with the 2's as well. Going to wait it after after Playoff 13's and WC 3's. Hopefully they drop in price by then.

Probably take about 2 months before Nike allows you to use one of their 20% off codes on these (if pairs don’t dry up on the website) ? Citrus 7’s went on sale 2 months after they released on Nike.

Just copped like 30 mins ago. Not sure if it’s my favorite OG AJ7 CW, but I’ve owned every retro of the Cardinal at least once. Might have to still go Olympics.
